The Microcosms series (2001-2002) was a response to my desire to create a more contemplative experience of the Golden Cities. Like their larger counterparts, these sculptures reveal metaphoric landscapes composed from hot glue forms, but invite a deeper, more focused interpretation. They have been presented in two formats: as a garden-like installation that one walks through, or mounted on the wall so that the sculptures seem to float in space.
